Privacy policy

We collect the email address and account details you supply when registering, along with profile information, books, interviews, and workspace material you save. Authentication is provided by Netlify Identity. Passwords are handled by the authentication service and are not displayed to site administrators.

Public author profiles include the biography, books, links, answered interview questions, quotes, and recognition you publish. Knowledge sources, drafts, portfolio notes, and audience analytics remain private to their owner; authorized administrators can manage site records. Avoid submitting sensitive personal information to AI tools. Material you submit for generation is processed through Netlify AI Gateway and its model provider to return your requested result.

Essential cookies maintain account sessions. A separate HTTP-only anonymous visitor cookie lasts up to 30 days and supports profile views, unique browser counts, and click analytics. We do not currently collect verified geographic audience information or search referral keywords. Anonymous browser counts are not counts of identified people.

Book search and cover images use Open Library and Internet Archive services. Searches and requests for images are sent to those services; their privacy policies apply to their handling of requests. Attribution: Open Library, https://openlibrary.org, an Internet Archive project. External retailers, research websites, and LinkedIn apply their own privacy terms when visited.

Account and workspace records remain stored until deleted or no longer needed for the service; operational backups may persist for a limited period. Contact us through the Contact page to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data. We use the details you submit there to respond. This policy may change as the service develops.
